So the most serious charge to date that the death squad coordinators, the Metropolitan Police, has faced over the murdere of innocent Brazilian Jean Charles de Menezes has been devilerd a GUILTY verdict. Pity there wasn't a GUILTY AS HELL verdict. It would be far more appropriate. And of course, the nasty Met is going to appeal, just like the plethora of dirty criminals before them, they find it unsavoury to take their punishement, instead ending up adding insult to injury to death, by wasting more taxpayers money, having of course, wasted a taxpayer!

Skynews says:

"In an unusual move, the jury at the old Bailey told the judge there should no personal culpability placed on the officer in charge, Cressida Dick."

Accomplace in murder - Cressida Dick

Yes, highly unusual. Makes me wonder why? Perhaps members of the jury have had disturbing dreams about themselves being pointed to and being described as 'up for it' or perhaps, they have had visions of fingerprint-less blunt penknives, woods and severed arteries (but little or no spilt blood of course). One can only speculate at this stage.

I had slowed down in posting about the BBC's coverage - one article in particular about the "dressed similiar" is still in tricky process of being fully examined, but I will continue and finish it off. It will be interesting retrospectively.

I admit to being worried that somehow I was missing them as I haven't been able to find the BBC articles for a while. I am sure they have just not bothered to cover many days of the case. You can get a lot of discussion on various points about the trial at the following:

A Superb related factual information with documented correspondance between 7-7 investigator Bridget Dunne and the UK authorities.

So, what next? Will the family and friends of JCdM be able to get charges of manslaughter and Murder against the Met? I severly hope so. What happened was not an accident. It wasn't a mistake. It was cold bruital and fascist murder - the kind of thing as a boy I used to imagine only happened in despotic regeimes far away. As I have gotten older, I have come to relise that the despotic regime was the very one I lived in.

Jean Charles, your savage killing will not be forgotton, nor should it be forgiven. Your killers will get their due punishement, by the most perfect of Judges. Of that you can rest assured.
UPDATE:
BBC states on its animated timeline (entitled: What happened: Death of Jean Charles de Menezes) slide 10/25

0947: JCDM and Ivor get off bus at Brixton town centre and walk 20 metres north to tube. Tube station is closed and JCDM uses phone and gets back on bus.
09:47: Ivor gets a lift from another officer. Colleague Laurence{emphasis added} manages to get on the bus and takes his place. Exact position of the firearms teams now uncertain.

But here is a picture of "Laurence"

It appears Laurence is dressed in could be described as police combat fatigues at 10:04:37. Are they? It is difficult to see exactly. What do his clothes look like to you? What is written on his cap? If it is police garb (disputable, yes) then I think it strange a man dressed as such would get on the bus to continue a covert surveillance on JCdM. http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/help/3681938.stm

This BBC link says Laurence sat behind JCdM Surveillance officer Laurence gets on bus and sits behind Mr de Menezes.

And how come Ivor said he didn't know Brixton tube station was closed if he got off the bus and the closed station doors were only 20 metres away?

UPDATE 2

Is Laurence one of the people with identified guns in this article?

Press photographs of members of the armed response team taken in the immediate aftermath of the killing show at least one man carrying a special forces weapon that is not issued to SO19, the Metropolitan police firearms unit.

The man, wearing civilian clothes with a blue cap marked “Police”, was carrying a specially modified Heckler & Koch G3K rifle with a shortened barrel and a butt from a PSG-1 sniper rifle fitted to it — a combination used by the SAS.

Another man, dressed in a T-shirt, jeans and trainers, was carrying a Heckler & Koch G36C. Although this weapon is used on occasion by SO19 it appears to be fitted with a target illuminator purchased as an “urgent operational requirement” for UK special forces involved in the war on terror.

The soldiers who took part in the surveillance operation that led to de Menezes’s death included men from a secret undercover unit formed for operations in Northern Ireland, defence sources said.

Known then as 14 Int or the Det, it is reported to have formed the basis of the Special Reconnaissance Regiment, the newly created special forces unit stationed alongside the SAS at Hereford. The men include SAS soldiers serving on attachment and are part of a team of around 50 UK special forces that has operated in London since the July 7 bombings in which 56 people died.

The implication that the man was actually a firearms member AND he was wearing identifiable police clothing, which raise a number of serious questions about apparent contradictions of the official story. Not to mention the Special Branch officers falsifying the log of events.

The BBC panorama program (9 march 06) has an Israeli scientist talking about TATP. Transcrpit here.

TAYLOR
The young bomber was arrested, the vest removed and detonated. TATP - triacetone triperoxide - is the most common explosive favoured by Palestinian's suicide bombers. Professor Ehud Keinan is Israel's leading expert on the deadly mixture. He gave me a demonstration.

Prof EHUD KEINAN Israel Institute of Technology, Haifa
Now if you take this amount and you multiply it by let's say 500,000, that is more or less the quantity that has been used in the British subway in July 7th earlier, and what you see, when I attach it to the cigarette, is just a ball of fire. So ready? [sound of explosion and a leap of flame]

TAYLOR
And that's just from that very small amount.

KEINAN
That's from very small amount. The paper is clear, nothing is left.

TAYLOR
And how easy is it to make TATP?

KEINAN
Embarrassingly simple.

How does Prof. Keinan know what explosive was used that day and how much was used? And then we have the fireball. I have previously blogged about this and took the line that it does not actually fireball based on reports stating that. Yet the demonstration clearly shows a fireball. I actually accept that it will fireball, due to the decomposition of TATP into highly flammable acetone(propanone) with a ready oxygen available. But then we need to start to explain the apparent lack of burns on many of the victims, the train and bus.

Clearly, many deadly serious questions remain which is why it is imperative that a full and independent enquiry is held that will examine every issue in the utmost seriousness.
