Not many people reveal their stats, perhaps from embarassment that their blog isn't read much, or out of modesty - not wanting to bragg, or maybe some other reason? I'm posting a snapshot of my stats here as there are still large (large for me!) numbers of visitors coming HERE even though all the posts are going on wordpress right now - (unique visitors on WP only 25 per day).

So once again, please, until I have finished my experiment, read the new articles on Wordpress.

If you have any +'ve or -'ve thought on either BCUK or Wordpress, please discuss it here. Thank you.

BCUK has far better interaction than WP.

The only way to get suitable interaction on WP is to promote yourself in emails or adverts on sites or blog listings. Or to do such controversial blog entries that they will come up in a google search.

WP is also much better if you host it yourself. You have more freedom to do as you choose with it and you can find some excellent add on's, such as being able to reply to comments directly rather than just at the bottom of all the other comments, text alerts and google search bars and much more.

But... even with all that, if you want regular visitors without shameful self promotion then BCUK is the place to be... in my opinion.

Cheers for the input Landers. It seems at the current time that the pro's and con's of each blog are pretty even, and the longer I spend on WP the more 'badness' I see. I keep losing formatting, but I had a major issue here losing the whole post and replies. Hummm....

I don't want to host WP (no time and I'm already paranoid that I'm getting DVT {deep vein thrombsis} 'cos I spend too much time on the 'puter.)

BCUK does have a nice softly-friendly 'feel' to it.
